John 10:10 makes it clear, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” What a great promise to those who trust in the Lord, and follow His plan.
God has a purpose for each valley that He allows. This book reveals . . .
Why God sends pain into our lives
What our perspective and responses should be

Reviews:
One can see the heart of a shepherd as Pastor Beaver shares biblical insights to help the child of God as he walks through the valleys of life. He writes in conversational tones, sharing practical insights from the Scriptures and his own personal experiences.
"Walking Through The Valleys of Life is a book that is practical, applicable, and Biblically sound." ~ (Dr. David C. Gibbs, Jr. Christian Law Association)
I just recently finished reading Pastor Jerry Beaver’s book Walking Through the Valleys of Life. Although the book is only 113 pages and 8 chapters long, it provides excellent Biblical counsel for the varying degrees of the trials of life. It is short enough that the average person in need would actually read it and receive some solid Biblical instruction. Trials are a normal part of life and we all should be prepared to understand why God allows them.
Walking Through the Valleys of Life would prove to be a good gift for someone who is going through some trial or difficulty of life. It would also be a good study for a Sunday School class or a Men’s/Ladies’ Bible Study or Small group class. I would recommend that local churches keep a few on hand to send to families in their communities who are having health problems or have just had a death in the family. There are many ways Walking Through the Valleys of Life could and should be used to the glory of God."
I just opened the mail box and received a copy of Jerry Beaver's debut book, Walking Through the Valleys of Life, based on Psalm 23. I had the pleasure of editing this book so it's special to me. But I would enjoy it even if I hadn't had a part in watching it take shape...Walking Through the Valleys of Life is for anyone who needs a reminder that we don't face trials alone.
Jerry W. Beaver, pastor of Victory Baptist Church of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin has published Walking Through the Valleys of Life… Jerry has written a thoughtful book about getting through the valleys of life"
Thank you, Pastor Beaver, for writing such a helpful book for the lives of people in our world today. Our church has purchased a case-full and nearly all of the books have been distributed out, not only to our church family, but also to those that God has opened the door to minister unto."Walking Through the Valleys of Life" is a great tool for any ministry: to use in the counseling of many folks during difficulties that come into all our lives. Over the past 6 weeks, I have had countless testimonies from our folks and those they have given the book to. Why? Because of the foundation from which it has been written- God's Word!Pastor Jerry Beaver has hit the nail on the head when addressing what God's children need today. This book encourages the saints to continue, despite trial, circumstance and unthinkable difficulties that are inevitable in our lives. May the Lord continue to bless and use this book.
